What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dermatology Medical Assistant (no derm experience necessary) position at St. Petersburg Dermatology?
Please note that we have a 4 day work week! You will work 4 longer days and get an extra day off each week. You will still get 40 hours of work each week.
St. Petersburg Dermatology is looking to hire an outstanding medical assistant/nurse to join our family. Typically we only consider candidates who have dermatology experience. However, at this time we are opening up this position to ALL medical assistants.
What are we looking for? A rock star medical assistant. Candidates we hire are typically the most valuable, most intelligent, or overall best medical assistant at their current or previous position and are excellent in the following areas:
- Speed
- Efficiency
- Anticipating the doctor's needs
- Writing the note (proper spelling/grammar/sentence structure)

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Rooming patients
- Helping to complete patient notes in our emr, EMA
- Surgery prep
- Assisting with surgeries and procedures
- Triage calls
- Ordering labs
