Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team in our growing dermatology practice! This is a great position for either an experienced Dermatology Medical Assistant or aspiring nursing students, nurse practitioner, physician assistant or medical school candidates looking for direct patient care hours. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working medical environment, and has previous medical experience. Work hours are Monday through Friday only, 8AM - 5PM. No nights or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assisting physician with patient's skin checks and minor cosmetic/laser procedures
- Assisting in surgical procedures/biopsies
- Documenting medical history and physical exams in EHR software (EMA/Modernizing Medicine)
- Assisting with scheduling appointments/phone calls
- Providing the highest quality care to patients.
