DIETARY MANAGER
Our Brand New Assisted Living Facility in St. Petersburg is seeking a qualified and experienced Dietary Manager.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the food and beverage operations ensuring high-quality service and resident satisfaction.
- Lead and manage culinary and front-of-house teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Implement brand-specific processes during facility transitions and adapt to changes as necessary.
- Conduct daily training sessions for staff and new management to instill company culture.
- Ensure high-quality food presentation and timely service to residents.
- Manage food and supply purchasing, adhering to specifications and authorized vendors.
- Drive recruitment efforts and ensure timely onboarding of new hires.
- Develop and manage budgets, position control worksheets, and job flows for the location.
- Supervise department personnel and ensure adherence to productivity metrics.
- Manage payroll input and oversee daily cash auditing and reconciliation processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role such as Dining Service Director, Executive Chef, or Chef Manager.
- Valid ServSafe, Choke Save, and Allergen certifications preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Culinary Arts, or Hotel/Restaurant Management is highly desirable.
- Experience leading dining service transitions and openings from a lead role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with residents and staff effectively.
- Ability to work with multiple software programs and manage various operational systems.
