What are the responsibilities and job description for the Float Teacher Infant to VPK (0-5) position at St. Paul UMC Preschool?
Our center has a Floater position open. This teacher will help in classrooms, with breaks, and fill in as needed with ages Infant-VPK. This position is 9am-6pm or 11am-6pm Monday-Friday. This position is Part-time, but may have over-time based on the needs of the center. Our center is open 6:30am-6pm.

Float Teacher GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Provides a warm, nurturing, stimulating, safe and loving environment where each child has the opportunity to develop language, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills appropriately
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- DCF 45-hour training required
- Active National CDA (can get while working)(But Pay would start at $14)
- College degree (not required, but equals higher pay if in field)
- CPR and First Aid required
- DCF Level II background clearing house required
