Healthcare Sciences Instructor
Location: Staten Island, NY 10311 (On-site)
Job Type: Part-Time

- Monday through Thursday

Pay:
$30.00 to $40.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Healthcare Sciences Instructor to join our educational team. The successful candidate will teach healthcare-related courses and help prepare students for careers in the healthcare field.
Teaching assignments may include:
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Microbiology
- Pharmacology
- Medical Terminology
- Pathophysiology
- Medical Assisting Courses
- Other healthcare-related subjects
The ideal candidate is passionate about education, enjoys mentoring students, and possesses strong clinical or healthcare science knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom and laboratory instruction
- Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain attendance and academic records
- Support student success and professional development
- Create a positive and respectful learning environment
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and educational standards
- Participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a healthcare-related field required
- Graduate-level healthcare education preferred
- Strong knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, or related healthcare sciences
- Clinical, laboratory, healthcare, or educational experience preferred
- Teaching, tutoring, training, or mentoring experience preferred
- Current healthcare licensure or certification is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

This position is performed on-site in Staten Island, New York.
