St. Paul's School of Nursing is seeking a highly organized and relationship-focused Clinical Administrator to support our nursing program by coordinating clinical placements and maintaining strong partnerships with healthcare facilities.

Position Summary

The Clinical Administrator is responsible for coordinating clinical education experiences for nursing students, maintaining clinical affiliation agreements, collaborating with healthcare partners, and ensuring all clinical documentation and student compliance requirements are met. This position works closely with the Dean of Nursing, faculty, clinical agencies, and students to ensure successful clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals and healthcare partners.
  • Coordinate and schedule clinical rotations for nursing students each academic term.
  • Establish and renew clinical affiliation agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, student compliance documents, and clinical site requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and maintain positive relationships with clinical partners.
  • Coordinate orientation requirements for students and faculty.
  • Communicate clinical assignments, schedules, and requirements to students and faculty.
  • Assist with resolving clinical scheduling issues.
  • Identify new clinical placement opportunities.
  • Monitor compliance with accreditation standards and institutional policies.
  • Participate in committee meetings and support departmental initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in healthcare, higher education, or business preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel locally to clinical sites.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating clinical placements or healthcare partnerships.
  • Background in nursing education, healthcare administration, academic administration, or hospital operations.
  • Experience working with compliance documentation and accreditation standards.
