Job Summary
We are an equal opportunity employer looking for qualified Summer School Age Program Assistants who are hardworking, nurturing, and creative. You will support the Program Leads in delivering fun-filled, hands-on activities and field trips for our Kindergarten through 4th grade children. You will work as a team to provide an exciting summer program for the children. This is a great position for a college student looking for some experience with children. Flexibility possible around class schedules if needed. Full-time and part-time positions available. High school diploma required. CDA, Associates, or ECE degree or in process of degree are preferred. Driver's license is required as you will be required to transport for field trips using our company vans. Free childcare is available for our teacher's children while they are working.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Assist in preparing and implementing daily activities for the children.
- Drive and actively supervise children on field trips.
- Actively supervise and interact with children throughout the program hours.
- Participate in training before the summer program starts.
- Clean up the space each day including but not limited to wiping down tables and chairs, sweeping floors, and taking out garbage.
- Work cooperatively with Program Leads to ensure children’s safety.
Skills
- Strong classroom management skills to guide children’s behavior constructively
- 2 Years of experience working with children in settings such as childcare, camp, tutoring, or early childhood education
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively
- Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, and team members
- Passion for working with children

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
