Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Maintenance/Building Manager to oversee the operational integrity, safety, and efficiency of our facilities. In this role, you will lead maintenance activities, supervise technical teams, and ensure all building systems operate smoothly to support our manufacturing and industrial processes. Your expertise in facilities management, mechanical systems, electrical and HVAC maintenance will be vital in maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex systems, lead projects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our facility operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance operations across all building systems including electrical, mechanical, HVAC and boiler systems.
- Supervise contractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies; make repairs or improvements accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, asset management, and safety inspections.
- Making sure the facilities are kept clean and in good working order.
- Must be ale to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to walk 85% of shift
- Must be able to climb a ladder and not be afraid of heights.
- Needs to be available and on-call for emergencies and snow.
Experience
- Proven management experience in facilities maintenance environments.
- Electrical and plumbing experience.
- Knowledge of HVAC/Boiler systems and safety protocols.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills for reporting purposes.
Pay: $41,600.00 - $52,000.00 per year
