Unarmed Security Officer
Location: Reading, PA
Schedule: Monday through Friday | 1st Shift (Day Shift)
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
Position Type: Full-Time
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Unarmed Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment at an assigned location. This is a standing post and requires a professional presence throughout the shift.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible security presence
- Monitor assigned areas and observe for suspicious activity
- Enforce site rules and security procedures
- Report incidents and safety concerns accurately and promptly
- Provide professional customer service to staff and visitors
Requirements:
- Prior security experience required
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
