Unarmed Part-Time Patrol Officer (HOA Security)
Location: Milford, PA
Job-Type: Part-time, with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and availability.
Shift: 12:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Pay: $15 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, observant, and professional Unarmed Patrol Officer to provide safety and security services within a residential HOA community. This role is ideal for individuals with previous patrol experience who are looking for stable hours and the opportunity for advancement.
Officers will conduct mobile and foot patrols, enforce community rules, monitor for suspicious activity, and serve as a visible safety presence for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine patrols (vehicle and foot) throughout the HOA community.
- Monitor for safety hazards, suspicious persons, and unusual activities.
- Document all incidents, observations, and daily activities in accurate written reports.
- Respond to resident concerns, requests, and calls for service in a courteous and professional manner.
- Enforce community rules and HOA regulations as directed by management.
- Observe and report any maintenance or property issues (e.g., broken lights, gates, vandalism).
- Maintain constant communication with the security team and supervisors.
- Ensure the patrol vehicle is kept clean, fueled, and in proper working condition.
- Follow all company safety procedures, protocols, and post orders.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Security experience required, with preference given to:
- HOA security
- Mobile patrol
- Vehicle-based patrol
- Ability to work weekends (mandatory).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain alert, observant, and professional at all times.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to walk, drive, and patrol for extended periods.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Prior HOA community security experience
- Experience with incident reporting software
- Customer service or resident support experience
- Knowledge of patrol procedures and security best practices
