Security Site Supervisor
Location: Ruther Glen, VA (Caroline County)
Pay Rate: $22/hour
Position: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced Security Site Supervisor to oversee operations at a large, gated residential community in the Ruther Glen area. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and proven experience supervising security teams in community or residential environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and support onsite security officers
- Conduct vehicle and foot patrols to ensure consistent site coverage
- Manage officer scheduling, assignments, and post orders
- Monitor access points and enforce community rules and safety standards
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for residents, staff, and management
- Respond to incidents and oversee accurate reporting, documentation, and follow-up
- Maintain compliance with company policies, DCJS regulations, and safety protocols
- Provide steady leadership during both routine operations and unexpected situations
Requirements:
- Valid DCJS Unarmed Security Registration
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean MVR and ability to pass a driving test
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Standard security uniform required
- Previous security supervisor experience required
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities
- Experience in community, residential, or patrol-based environments preferred
