Job Title: Office/ School Security Officer
Salary: 17.65 per hour
Location: Phoenix, AZ Schedule:
Saturday -Sunday 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday - Wednesday, 10 PM- 6 AM
Position Overview: St. Moritz is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and assets. You’ll play a crucial part in maintaining a secure environment through vigilance, professionalism, and proactive communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the office premises to ensure safety.
- Respond to school alarm to ensure safety of school and premises
- Inspect vehicles and facilities for hazards or maintenance needs.
- Monitor and operate fire control panels, responding to alarms as needed.
- Track and manage work orders; respond to phone calls and emails.
- Document incidents and report shift transitions accurately.
- Provide guidance and assistance to associates and visitors.
- Identify potential risks and address them before they become issues.
- Deliver excellent customer service through professional communication.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid AZDPS Unarmed Guard Card (must be up-to-date).
- Valid drivers license
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Additional training in security, law enforcement, or public safety is a plus.
- Strong observational skills and situational awareness.
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
- Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred.
