Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer
Location: Pennington, New Jersey
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM (with occasional 10:00 AM–6:00 PM shifts)
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
We are seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to support safety and access control within a corporate environment. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, solid security experience, and a polished, customer-service–oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access for employees, visitors, and vendors
- Maintain a visible security presence throughout the facility
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols to identify safety or security concerns
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance
- Document daily activities and incidents accurately and professionally
- Communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, and incoming officers
- Uphold a calm, professional demeanor in a corporate setting
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey SORA Guard Card
- Previous security experience, preferably in a corporate or office environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work assigned schedules
- Professional appearance and conduct
