Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Mechanicsburg, PA

Job Type: Full-Time | Overnight

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
Pay: $15.00 per hour

We are seeking a reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to provide safety and security services at a large, federally contracted industrial facility. The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, and able to work independently during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure assigned areas of the facility.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Control access to the site and verify credentials of employees and visitors.
• Report and document any unusual activity, safety concerns, or incidents.
• Respond to alarms or emergencies according to established procedures.
• Maintain a visible and professional presence at all times.

Qualifications

• Prior security experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• General computer proficiency.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must pass any required background checks.
• Must be dependable and able to work the full overnight schedule consistently.
