Welcome to St. Monica Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare! Our 180 bed facility, provides a warm and caring environment for short-term rehab patients, and long- term residents. Our team of seasoned staff work together to offer excellent service and care to each resident.
The Dietary Aide serves an important role as an assistant for all dietary functions. Under the supervision of the Dietary Director the Dietary Aide will handle and deliver food services in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Dietary Aide Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Cook in preparing meals and snacks for residents in accordance with sanitary regulations as well as established procedures
- Serve meals and snacks in accordance with approved menu spreadsheets in a palatable and appetizing manner
- Serve meals in accordance with established portion control procedures
- Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties and in accordance with established facility procedures
- Report all hazardous conditions and broken equipment to the Dietary Director
- Maintain food storage areas including refrigerators and freezers in a clean and sanitary manner
- Report food complaints and suggestions to the Dietary Director
- Perform other job-related duties as required
No Experience Necessary. Must be 18 years old or older to apply
