What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Associate / Night Auditor position at St. Michaels Harbour Inn, Marina & Spa?
We are seeking experienced Part Time & Full Time Front Desk Agents to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact with our guests, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive guest experience.
Duties:
- Greeting guests in a warm, friendly, inviting manner and provide them with information about the hotel, spa, restaurant and surrounding area
- Answer incoming and internal phone calls and actioning client requests accordingly
- Executing proper check-in and check-out procedures, processing payments and sales transactions, programming room key, etc.
-Making or amending room reservations by phone/in person and via our various booking engines
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately and honestly
- Respond to guest inquiries and/or concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and representing the hotel in a positive, friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using phone systems and computer software programs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Prior experience in guest relations or hospitality is required
