Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of retail management experience
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of non-profit management and volunteer engagement
- Working knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping
- Well organized, self-motivated
- Provide strong leadership, develop and set program goals; manage and train staff and volunteers; maintain accurate record keeping (volunteer files, financial reports, etc.).
- Provide oversight of hospital gift shop and coordinates purchases with supervisor and designated volunteer.
- Maintains clear and current knowledge of legal and administrative requirements and/or issues related to volunteer programs. Must follow volunteer bylaws and encourage and enable executive board to provide organizational leadership and ownership.
- Participate in communication/civic activities and events to promote volunteer opportunities
- Develops and cultivates relationships with current volunteers, potential recruits and external partners/organizations.
