Plant Operator I
The primary responsibility of the plant operator is to perform work to
maintain the hospital physical plant and clinic buildings, interior
systems, boilers and HVAC systems. Also has primary responsibility to
maintain the hospital mechanical equipment to include: boiler operation,
heating plumbing systems, medical gas systems, domestic water systems,
and fire protection systems maintaining the plumbing systems, in
reliable energy efficient operation and good repair. The plant operator
should ensure the physical plants and grounds are maintained in safe,
good repair and to ensure the buildings and grounds physical appearance
is maintained at the highest degree of quality possible.\
