What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI Technologist position at St. Mary's Health Care System?
MRI Technologist to work in the Radiology Department at St Mary’s Hospital in Athens, Georgia.
What you will do:
- Under the direction of the technical supervisor/team leader, the imaging assistant is responsible for direct patient care activities and clerical duties as assigned by MRI.
- direct patient flow through the department,
- greet and escort/transport patients within the imaging department and back to the patient room or Emergency Department.
What you will need:
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered MR or registry eligible with ARRT (MR)
- Must have current BLS thru American Heart Association.
- Education: Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.
- Experience: One year experience in hospital environment as MRI Technologist preferred.
