Responsibilities
- Assist with talent acquisition activities including sourcing candidates through HR systems like ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) such as Kenexa BrassRing or Taleo, coordinating interviews, and supporting onboarding processes.
- Support employee orientation programs by preparing materials, scheduling sessions, and ensuring a smooth integration for new hires.
- Help manage employee evaluation and performance management processes by collecting data, updating records in HRIS (Human Resources Information System), and supporting managers with performance review procedures.
- Contribute to benefits administration tasks such as benefits enrollment, payroll processing coordination, and handling confidential employee information with utmost discretion.
- Aid in compliance efforts related to employment law, OSHA regulations, FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), workers' compensation, affirmative action planning, and regulatory compliance management.
- Participate in project management initiatives related to organization design, succession planning, workforce management, and strategic planning efforts.
- Provide administrative support including data entry, report generation using Excel data analysis techniques, maintaining HR records, and supporting HR department operations with excellent communication skills.
Experience
- Prior experience in human resources or personnel administration is preferred but not required; relevant internship experience is also valuable.
- Familiarity with human resources management practices such as HR sourcing, employee relations, training & development, and HR legal compliance is advantageous.
- Knowledge of HR systems including Oracle HCM or UltiPro is a plus; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications—especially Excel—is essential for data analysis and reporting tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining professionalism in communication and conflict management situations.
- Experience with recruiting platforms like Kenexa BrassRing or Taleo enhances your ability to support talent acquisition initiatives effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are critical for success in this role.
