St. Martin’s Episcopal School in Metairie is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lower School Assistant Teacher to join our faculty for the 2026-2027 academic school year. We are looking for an educator who loves inspiring young learners in an environment where they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore, grow, and build confidence. This is a full-time, academic year position (August-May).

We are seeking a caring, dependable, and engaging Lower School Assistant Teacher to support our early childhood classrooms. This role works closely with the lead teacher to create a warm, structured, and joyful learning environment for our youngest students.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being fully present with children and supporting their academic, social, and emotional development throughout the day.
