Position Overview
The Literacy Teacher Collaboration (TC) Facilitator serves as an instructional leader at assigned STEAM schools to support literacy achievement through teacher collaboration, instructional coaching, and implementation of high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) aligned to the Louisiana Department of Education High-Quality Professional Learning (HQPL) Cycle.
Key Responsibilities
The Literacy TC Facilitator reports to the school principal and/or designated district supervisor and is responsible for implementing the LDOE HQPL Cycle with fidelity.

The Literacy Teacher Collaboration (TC) Facilitator serves as an instructional leader at assigned STEAM schools to support literacy achievement through teacher collaboration, instructional coaching, and implementation of high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) aligned to the Louisiana Department of Education High-Quality Professional Learning (HQPL) Cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate weekly Teacher Collaboration meetings focused on literacy instruction and student achievement.
- Support teachers with HQIM lesson planning, data analysis, and instructional improvement.
- Provide job-embedded coaching and model evidence-based literacy practices.
- Collaborate with school and district leaders to support literacy initiatives and professional learning.
- Maintain documentation of collaboration meetings, goals, and teacher progress.
- Participate in required district and LDOE professional development activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Education required; Master's degree preferred.
- Valid Louisiana teaching certificate.
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience in ELA, Reading, or Literacy.
- Knowledge of the science of reading, Louisiana literacy standards, HQIM, and literacy assessments.
- Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and facilitation skills.
