Contempo Cabinetry is hiring an Estimator to support our growing pipeline of commercial and multi-unit residential cabinetry projects.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong professional with experience in construction and cabinetry estimating who can contribute meaningfully to the pre-construction process from initial bid through project handoff. This is a hands-on role for someone who can interpret plans and specifications, perform quantity takeoffs, develop accurate pricing, and coordinate effectively with internal teams throughout the estimating process.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Prepare complete and accurate estimates for commercial and multi-unit cabinetry projects
- Review architectural plans, project specifications, and bid documents to determine scope and pricing requirements
- Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and related project components
- Coordinate with internal departments including sales, design, engineering, and operations throughout the estimating process
- Assist in the review and coordination of shop drawings as needed
- Identify scope gaps, pricing risks, and value engineering opportunities
- Maintain clear and organized records of bids, proposals, pricing worksheets, and estimate backup
- Utilize Excel to create, manage, and analyze estimate worksheets, bid comparisons, and pricing models
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction and cabinetry estimating
- Experience with commercial or multi-unit residential projects
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with quantity takeoffs
- Experience reviewing shop drawings
- Engineering experience or related technical knowledge
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience with 2020 Design
About the Ideal Candidate

Compensation & Benefits
- $70,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience
- Paid time off
- Monthly healthcare stipend available after 90 days of full-time service
