Production Op Blender

CareerSource Capital Region is recruiting on behalf of a local employer for this opportunity.

• Must be able to successfully complete a comprehensive background check. • BATFE clearance required
• Must have a valid State Drivers License with less than 2 moving or non-moving violations in the past 7 years. Employer will conduct MVR

Basic Qualifications

• Must having passing scores on the Work Keys Skills Tests administered by CareerSource Capital Region.
• Must have the ability to communicate, read, and write
• Must have the ability to learn and understand oral and written instruction.
• Must be dependable; have an acceptable work record including attendance.
• Must have the physical dexterity to operate equipment and instrumentation.
• Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
• Must be capable of passing task certifications, and powder van driving test.
• Must have a strong desire to work and have reliable transportation.

Major Position Responsibilities

Must gain A thorough knowledge of all operating and safety procedures. Tasks that may be required, but not limited to:

Transport samples, raw materials and supplies.

• Transport product by using a hand dolly and powder van (truck).
• Maintain operating log, prepare labels as required, and accurately record information.
• Operate pneumatic and other required tools.
• Operate hoisting equipment.
• Participate in Hazmat/Fire Brigade
• Drive tractor-trailer rig to move NC trailers, and other tasks as assigned.

• Bending, climbing stairs and ladders, reaching above shoulder level,
• Repetitive pushing & trucking of up to 250 pounds and lifting of up to 55 pounds.
• May also include periodic use of a respirator.
• Finger, hand, and other physical dexterity required.
• Must be able to work 12 hour shifts, and rotate from day shift to night shift every 14 days.
• Must be able to perform all job requirements in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Weekend work/Overtime is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.01 per hour

• 8 hour shift

• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
