What You'll Do
- Maintain strict confidentiality and consistently follow all safety, PPE, and hazardous-waste handling protocols
- Work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to established cleaning and safety procedures
- Perform a wide range of cleaning tasks in resident rooms and common areas, including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, trash removal, and window cleaning
- Clean and maintain floors and carpets facility-wide, including sweeping, scrubbing, buffing, extracting, and shampooing as needed
- Support overall facility upkeep by maintaining tidy common areas and reporting repair or maintenance needs to the Manager
- Participate in cross-training across all Environmental Services (EVS) functions, including resident apartments, healthcare areas, and floor maintenance
What You'll Need
- 6 months of housekeeping experience required
- At least 18 years old
- Able to stand, walk, lift up to 35 pounds, and perform basic physical tasks
- Ability to work well with others, being courteous and considerate when interacting with residents, team members, and visitors
