Job Summary And Qualifications
As a Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for accurately performing all advanced and basic pharmacy technician functions in a timely manner. In addition, this position maybe responsible for performing duties associated with Automated Dispensing Cabinets and other specialized duties as assigned by the pharmacy management team. In this role:
- You will be responsible for maintaining medication storage and security.
- You will interact with hospital personnel both in person and by phone.
- You will accurately package and prepare medications for dispensing.
- You will transport medications and supplies to various areas of the hospital.
- You will perform daily Automated Dispensing Cabinet routines as assigned.
- You will help manage drug supplies in a cost effective manner and identify opportunities to minimize waste. You will help mentor new technicians and assist the Pharmacy Director with special projects as needed
- (CPhT) Certified Pharmacy Technician
- (PharmTech) Pharmacy Technician License
- Three (3) year experience Required Years of Experience
