Position Summary:
Responsible for insurance-related and patient account activities of the practice. C onduct audits and coding reviews to ensure documentation is accurate and precise across all practices, and review audit results with providers. T he position requires a thorough understanding of practice management software and a good working knowledge of medical coding, claims procedures, and insurance company regulations. Requires accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and insurance companies. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
