Position Summary: 

Organizes, plans, directs, staff and manages a diagnostic section of the Laboratory.   Under the direction of the medical director and director of laboratory, or chief technologist (as assigned) is accountable for delivery of high-quality patient care through cost effective and efficient management of the section. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values. 

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:   

Education: BS or BA degree required, MBA preferred 

Experience: Five or more years technical experience in a clinical laboratory required. Three or more years supervisory experience required 

 Licensure: MT (ASCP) or equivalent required
