This is an on-site, full-time position located in St. Louis Park, MN. The Human Resources Specialist will manage a variety of HR processes and initiatives, including implementing HR policies, managing employee benefits programs, overseeing personnel records, and supporting staff recruitment and onboarding efforts. The role also includes providing guidance on HR management practices, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture through effective communication and support to school staff and leadership.
- Strong foundational knowledge in Human Resources (HR), HR Management, and HR Policies
- Experience in Employee Benefits administration and managing personnel-related programs
- Proficiency in Personnel Management and the ability to support staff relations and development
- Understanding of employment laws and experience in ensuring organizational compliance
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in an inclusive and equity-focused environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
