Program Specialist - Full-Time

St. Joseph’s Center, a compassionate nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals with diverse needs, is seeking a full-time Program Specialist for our Adult Day Program located at our Main Center campus in Scranton. This position plays a critical role in developing, using, and monitoring personal services and supports for program participants, ensuring a safe, engaging, and person-centered environment.

What You'll Do:
- Develop, use, and monitor personal service plans (ISPs) for up to 30 participants.
- Ensure follow with PA 2380 regulations and organizational policies.
- Coordinate and supervise Program Assistants, including specialized training related to health and safety needs.
- Complete assessments and share results prior to ISP meetings; attend initial, annual, and revision ISP meetings.
- Create age-appropriate, functional outcomes and review progress quarterly.
- Maintain accurate documentation and data collection for all services and supports.
- Assist with personal care and therapeutic needs as required.
- Collaborate with team teams, outside agencies, and families.
- Administer medications upon completion of PA Certified Medication Administration Course; review medication logs and records.
- Participate in staff meetings, fire drills, and required annual training (minimum 24 hours).
- Maintain program materials and ensure a safe, positive environment for participants and staff.

What's Required of You:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Valid PA Driver’s License.
- Ability to lift/move items over 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as squatting, bending, and kneeling.
- Willingness to complete Certified Medication Administration training and other certifications as needed (e.g., CPR Instructor, Certified Investigator).
