Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
- Assist with patient triage and assessment in the ED.
- Administer basic life support (BLS) and emergency care procedures as required.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any significant changes in patient condition to nursing staff and physicians.
- Prepare and maintain patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Support the team in maintaining a clean, stocked, and organized work environment.
- Participate in patient transport within the hospital under the supervision of medical staff.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to execute care plans effectively.

- High school diploma or equivalent or related experience require.
- Basic EMT training or E.R. experience required.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Current PALS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Certified/Licensed EMT by the state-certifying agency/entity required.
