JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary: The School Nurse (SN) will provide
medical care to all school students at St. Joseph Academy. Maintaining
immunizations, medications and an effective referral system are key
components of the SN. The SN will facilitate Code Blue drills, work with
the Food Services Supervisor to promote overall health, and lead the
School\'s Wellness Plan. Position Reports to: Principal Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s Degree in Nursing required Current WI Nursing license
required 1 years School Nurse experience Effective and appropriate
interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work with diverse
ethnic and socioeconomic communities Current knowledge of community
resources Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems Excellent
written and oral communication skills Ability to collaborate with
appropriate staff Proficient user of MS Office software Bilingual
Spanish preferred Equipment Used: Office equipment: PC, printers, phone
systems, fax machine, photocopier, scanner Physical and Mental
Requirements: (Occasionally 1% - 33% of time; frequently 34% - 66% of
time; continuously 67% - 100% of time): Occasionally - lifting up to 25
pounds, Rarely lifting over 25 pounds, Occasionally walking and
standing, Continuously sitting, Frequently hand manipulation / dexterity
when writing, using PC, and using other office equipment, occasionally
bending and reaching Environmental Conditions: Occasional exposure to
infectious or communicable diseases inherent to care of ill children,
occasional exposure to loud or unpleasant voices due to unpredictable
behavior of children and seasonal exposure to high humidity due to
temperature control of the facility, heat and cold due to the internal
