What You'll Do:
- Be the dentist’s sidekick, prepping rooms, sterilizing tools, and keeping supplies ready to roll.
- Greet patients with a warm smile, chat about their medical history, and nail those vital signs.
- Snap dental X Rays like a pro and keep our digital imaging systems in tip top shape.
- Assist chairside during fillings, extractions, root canals, and more, think of yourself as a dental superhero!
- Teach patients the art of brushing, flossing, and post treatment care with a friendly vibe.
- Keep our treatment rooms, sterilization zones, and common areas sparkling clean.
- Jot down patient records with precision, from treatment proposals to progress notes.
- Master infection control like a boss, ensuring everything’s safe and squeaky clean.
- Help stock up on dental supplies to keep the practice running smoothly.
What You Bring (Experience Required):
- Proven experience as a dental assistant in a clinical setting.
- Solid know how of dental procedures, tools, and lingo from hands on work.
- X-ray certification and skills (or current eligibility in Vermont).
- Special shout out to EFDA certified assistants (or those trained in expanded functions) who place restorations, we especially welcome you and offer pay up to $35/hour based on experience and skills!
- Team spirit, awesome communication, and the knack for making patients feel at ease.
- Sharp eye for detail and the ability to juggle tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with dental software.
- A passion for making smiles shine!
- High school diploma or equivalent (bonus points for completing a dental assisting program).
