Job Description
The Director of Nursing Services (DON) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day healthcare needs of the people served. The Director of Nursing also serves as the liaison between St. John’s and other allied healthcare providers. The DON is responsible for supervising, training, providing direction and leadership to the nursing staff. Interacts daily with others including: residents and their families, staff and other department managers, physicians and referral sources.
Qualifications
Must be an RN licensed in the state of Minnesota. This position requires excellent clinical and people skills and three or more years of management experience.
