We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Church Office Assistant. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, think critically, and possess excellent communication skills. This part time position offers some flexibility of schedule that would be ideal for a parent.
**Duties* Provide administrative support to the Pastor and Church Office, including answering phones, taking messages, and responding to emails. Assist with periodic updating of profiles in church membership system. Organize and maintain the office environment, including managing and ordering supplies, mail. Role involves being a main contact point for the congregation’s membership. A central task of the position is creating the weekly worship bulletin for the congregation. Familiarity with such things would be helpful but we can train. **Requirements *
High School diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor’s degree a plus. Previous experience working in an office environment, Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with typical office software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Physical stamina to perform administrative tasks in an office setting.
