Client Care Representative and Vet Assistant – Join Our Growing Team!
Location: St. Francis Veterinary Clinic – Grimes, Iowa
St. Francis Veterinary Clinic, a well-established, growing, family-owned practice in Grimes, IA, is seeking a motivated and compassionate Client Care Representative and Vet Assitant to join our close-knit team.
This role is essential to maintaining the exceptional service and care our clients have come to expect. As the first point of contact for our clinic, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for both clients and their pets.
An experienced Client Care Coordinator and Vet Assistant is needed at a small, family-owned veterinary hospital in Grimes, Iowa. Duties include greeting clients, assisting veterinarians, monitoring anesthesia, and inventory management. Equipment includes digital radiography, ultrasound, gas anesthesia, and a dental machine. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Answer phone calls, return messages, and manage client communications with professionalism and empathy
- Schedule appointments, manage the daily calendar, and confirm visits
- Process payments, prepare invoices, and handle basic billing tasks
- Manage prescription refills and coordinate with online pharmacy
- Help monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies
- Support team members and cross-train with veterinary assistants to help as needed. Monitoring anesthesia and other vet assistant duties are opportunities for growth if desired.
