What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Aide position at St. Francis de Sales School?
We are looking for Special Education Aides to work on student days next school year. We have a great school and very supportive Special Education Team. You would work closely with our Intervention Specialists to work one on one/two with students K-8, typically in a general education classroom, to provide academic, minor behavioral and social support. You must be available Monday through Friday from 8:30-3 and would work close to 29 hours per week. You would be given a lot of support and information, but need to be able to follow guidelines given and be effective in all classes, including religion. Experience preferred but not required. This is an active job that may require a lot of walking and flexibility. Please make sure you are okay with no benefits except one personal day and three sick days. Unfortunately, this is non-negotiable.
