What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASD Behavior Consultant position at St. Francis Area Schools?
- Work closely with school administration, teachers, and support staff to address behavioral concerns.
- Create, implement, and train Tier 2 and Tier 3 behavior interventions.
- Create, maintain, and analyze data of continuous monitoring of student performance and progress.
- Participate in Child Study Team (CST) planning, evaluating, and programming for students.
- Provide work direction and training to the Educational Assistants.
- Knowledge of the process for completing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and implementation of Positive Behavior Intervention Plans (PBIPs) to address challenging behaviors.
- Actively participates in trainings and staff meetings as deemed appropriate.
- Communicates with teachers regarding programs and materials to meet student needs
- Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a team-oriented individual who is comfortable and experienced working with students exhibiting challenging behaviors in both mainstream and center-based settings. Prefer experience with special education evaluation.
