What YOU will do
The CNC Machinist will report to the Back Shop Department and play a vital role in repairing, modifying, and fabricating aircraft parts using specialized tooling and ground support equipment. You'll follow detailed instructions and manuals to complete routine and non-routine assignments in a timely manner.

What YOU will do
The CNC Machinist will report to the Back Shop Department and play a vital role in repairing, modifying, and fabricating aircraft parts using specialized tooling and ground support equipment. You'll follow detailed instructions and manuals to complete routine and non-routine assignments in a timely manner.
- In This Role, You Will:Repair, modify, and fabricate aircraft parts using special tooling and ground support equipment.
- Follow oral and written instructions, including supervisor directives and manuals.
- Maintain and store various tools in serviceable condition.
- Adhere to safe maintenance practices and keep a clean work area.
- Maintain personal records of work performed on OJT forms for the Training Department.
- Successfully complete any courses deemed necessary by the Training Department.
- Perform any work assigned by your supervisor.
- Knowledge of machining and fabricating metal parts using manual mills and lathes.
- Understanding of metal properties, safety procedures, and operation of mills, lathes, drill press, and saws.
- Basic knowledge of aircraft manuals, ATA codes, and applicable FAA regulations.
- Familiarity with company policies, paperwork procedures, and work sign-off processes.
- Ability to work under immediate direction and follow detailed instructions.
- Moderate interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
- Physical ability to stand for 90% of the workday, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in varying environments.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- A&P License desired or specialized training preferred.
- One year minimum experience machining.
