Vacuum Truck Driver

CNC Oilfield Services LLC
Cotulla, TX Full Time
POSTED ON 8/4/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 10/3/2026

CNC Oilfield Services is a leading oil and gas service company, providing reliable transportation solutions to the industry. We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Vacuum Truck Drivers to join our team. If you have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a professional attitude, we want to hear from you!

As a Vacuum Truck Driver you will be responsible for the safe operation of a truck and vacuum trailer to transport and dispose of oilfield fluids, equipment, and materials to and from designated locations. This role requires strict adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and environmental guidelines to ensure proper handling of materials, plus strong attention to detail due to the safety-sensitive nature of the job.

Drivers will operate industrial vehicles, performing loading and unloading operations while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Responsibilities include transporting fluids, vacuuming spills, assisting crews at job sites, and working at various locations such as chemical plants, production facilities, and oilfield sites.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Transport and Disposal: Safely operate a vacuum truck and trailer unit to haul and dispose of oilfield-related fluids.
  • Vehicle Inspections & Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, starting at least 15 minutes before the shift, and report any defects. Perform minor equipment repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Job Execution & Customer Service:
    • Follow dispatch instructions, haul loads in assigned order, and ensure timely delivery.
    • Interact with customers to provide job updates and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Handle trailer drop-offs and pickups in designated yards safely.  Navigate tight corners, high-traffic zones, and manufacturing areas safely.
  • Hauling Software & Paperwork Management:
    • Accept all assigned loads through the company’s hauling software before transport.
    • Enter required data into the hauling system as loads are completed. Do not wait until the end of the shift.
    • Complete and submit all required paperwork (DVIRs, load tickets, logs, inspection reports, etc.) at the end of each shift. No exceptions.
  • Equipment Handling & Reporting:
    • Operate and maintain trucks and equipment per manufacturer recommendations.
    • Do not modify any vehicle or equipment without written authorization from both the manufacturer and company management.
    • Verify loads, tools, and equipment are properly secured before transporting.
    • Notify the Foreman or Supervisor of any equipment repairs needed.
  • Communication & Availability:
    • Answer calls from dispatch in a safe and timely manner (not while driving).
    • Be available for nights, weekends, and on-call shifts as required.
    • Work effectively as part of a team, offering support and assistance as needed.
    • Recommend safety improvements based on experience and observations.
  • Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel outside of the local area may be required to support company operations, including assignments at remote or long-term job sites. Such travel may involve extended stays away from home, overnight lodging, and adaptation to varying work schedules or environments. Employees are expected to maintain reliable communication with supervisors and team members while traveling to ensure operational needs are met and work progress is effectively coordinated.
  • Cross-Division Support:
From time to time, employees may be asked to provide assistance to other divisions or departments within the company to meet business demands or address staffing needs. This may include temporarily working under different supervisors, performing duties outside the employee’s primary job scope, and adapting to different workflows, equipment, or procedures. Flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to learn new tasks are essential to successfully fulfilling these requests.

Operational & Safety Procedures

  • Workplace Safety & Compliance:
    • Always follow company safety policies (seatbelts, cameras, PPE/FRC).
    • Must wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves, respirators, safety glasses, foot protection, hard hat, hearing protection, and company-issued H2S Gas Monitor at all job sites.
    • Report any accidents, near misses, equipment issues, or lost/broken tools immediately to dispatch or a supervisor.
    • Attend required safety training and meetings.
    • Model professional behavior by reporting to work on time, fit for duty, and in proper uniform.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Obey state and federal traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety standards.
    • Ensure brake adjustments and vehicle safety checks are completed before use.
    • Secure all loads per DOT safety requirements.
