Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their dining experience and promote beverage sales.
- Manage POS systems such as Toast, Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs to management proactively.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender with strong cocktail mixing skills and knowledge of spirits, wine, and brewing processes.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly preferred.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently.
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is advantageous.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of beverage recipe development, mixology techniques, and food handling safety standards.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and processing transactions accurately.
- Hospitality industry experience including banquet or catering settings is a plus.
