Elementary School Teacher

St. Egbert Catholic School, a faith-filled and vibrant PreK–5 community, is seeking a passionate and energetic Elementary Teacher to join our team! We're looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable educator with a strong foundation in elementary content and pedagogy, ready to bring creativity and enthusiasm into the classroom every day. As an Elementary Teacher, you'll take the lead in instructing all core subjects, helping students build a strong academic foundation while fostering a genuine love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons in alignment with all applicable educational standards.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages respect, responsibility, and curiosity.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively by employing positive behavior management strategies, creating a respectful learning environment conducive to student engagement.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Use formative and summative assessments to regularly measure student performance, leveraging data to drive instruction and promote individual growth.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement to foster strong home-school partnerships.
• Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development.
• Uphold and model the values and mission of St. Egbert Catholic School.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field
• Candidates must have NC teaching licensure or be able to obtain NC teaching licensure
• At least one year teaching experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to fostering a respectful and faith-informed learning environment.
• Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks
• Must complete diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
