POSITION SUMMARY
St. David’s School seeks a Donor Relations & Engagement Manager to strengthen the culture of philanthropy across our community. The Donor Relations & Engagement Manager partners closely with the Director of Advancement, Director of Annual Giving, Parent Relations and Events Manager, and Director of Advancement Services team to ensure our families experience excellent communication, thoughtful follow-up, and a seamless donor journey.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Alumni & Parent-of-Alumni Engagement (40%)
- Build and lead a comprehensive alumni and parent-of-alumni engagement program.
- Coordinate alumni gatherings, reunions, regional meetups, and campus visits.
- Develop and manage digital engagement pathways.
- Track alumni milestones and achievements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for alumni and parents-of-alumni.
Donor Stewardship & Mid-Level Donor Management (35%)
- Manage a portfolio of 60-70 donors
- Conduct discovery outreach with alumni, POA, and current families.
- Prepare and deliver personalized stewardship touchpoints.
- Support donor research, meeting prep, and follow-up.
- Execute stewardship plans for donor segments.
- Build strong relationships through mission-aligned communication.
Advancement Operations (25%)
- Record call reports and stewardship actions in Veracross.
- Build lists, reports, and segmented donor groups.
- Partner with Advancement Services for data accuracy.
- Prepare impact communication.
- Support Annual Fund and Events
QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES
- Bachelor’s degree; 2–5 years relevant experience.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Warm, relational, and comfortable connecting externally.
- Highly organized and deadline-driven.
- Proficient in CRM systems (Veracross preferred), Microsoft Office, SharePoint, OneNote.
- Thrives in a mission-driven, Christian environment.
