HIRING: Full-Time Caregiver — Andover, CT | $17–$18/hr | Mon–Fri, 8 hrs/day
St. Daniel's Companions LLC is hiring one caregiver for a steady, full-time assignment with a single client in Andover, CT (06232).
40 hours a week. Same client, same schedule, every day. No rotating assignments, no scrambling for hours.
About the drive — Andover is a small town, so we want to be honest about the commute:
- Bolton — about 10 min
- Coventry — about 10 min
- Hebron / Columbia — about 10–15 min
- Willimantic — about 15 min
- Marlborough — about 15 min
- Manchester — about 20 min
- Vernon / Rockville — about 20 min
- East Hartford — about 25 min
- Glastonbury — about 25 min
- Hartford — about 30 min
You need your own reliable vehicle, a valid license, and insurance. There's no bus out there. If you can't do the drive five days a week year-round, this one isn't for you.
What the job involves: personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility), meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, companionship, and documenting your visits accurately.
What we expect: show up on time, every day. Clock in and out from the home using our EVV system at your actual start and end times. Treat the client and their household with respect and confidentiality.
Pay: starts at $17/hr. Caregivers with consistent attendance, clean EVV compliance, and good feedback from the client and family move up toward $18/hr. We'll walk you through exactly how that works at the interview.
Experience preferred. CNA/HHA/PCA is a plus, not required — we'll train the right person. Must pass a background check and TB screening.
