What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Manager position at St. Clements, Inc.?
Summary:
The main duties of the Maintenance Worker / Groundskeeper Supervisor position are to ensure the property at Saint Clement’s Castle and Marina is functioning and in pristine condition. This is a hands-on position that requires a lot of repairs and maintains the overall appearance of the castle. This position requires knowledge in electrical, plumbing, construction, heavy machinery, and everyday maintenance. This position will be responsible for staffing and leading a small team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Communicate with all departments to always ensure safety and cleanliness of the property.
- Attend Bi-Weekly Staff Meetings
- Utilize your knowledge of and skills in electricity, plumbing, HVAC, irrigation and general repairs to complete projects as set by your supervisor.
- Address problems or concerns with the facility in a responsive and professional manner.
- Prepare and input weekly schedules into Paylocity.
- Work independently and efficiently as you respond to a variety of situations.
- Maintain organized inspection logs of equipment to include filter changes, belts, etc.
- Maintain all pertinent records in a timely and efficient manner.
- Open and close the building according to protocols.
- Continuous training of staff, maintain an attendance log, administer coaching and counseling when necessary.
- Operate heavy machinery as needed.
- Always observe proper safety and sanitary techniques.
- Snowplow removal during the winter months.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintaining knowledge and adhering to all Saint Clements Castle policies and procedures established by the company, including but not limited to those in the employee handbook.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be available to work weekends and nights.
- Must be available to open and close the facility as needed.
- Must have a high level of energy.
- Must work well with others.
- Must be able to lift, bend and move up to 50 pounds, regularly.
