This is a part‑time position dedicated to delivering high‑quality Physical Education instruction aligned with school standards and athletic philosophy.

Supervisory Relationship

Effective collaboration across departments is essential for success in this role.

The Physical Education Teacher reports to the Athletic Director and works collaboratively with all PE instructors and athletics staff.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required. Desired fields of study include physical education, recreation administration, kinesiology, exercise science, or related fields.
• Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
• Knowledge of and insight into the principles of child development and learning.
• Knowledge of fitness training principles and developmentally appropriate methodologies.
• Fluency in Spanish is beneficial but not required.
• Strong, positive references that support professionalism and work ethic.
• Active and practicing Christian requirement; willing to sign Affirmation of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability within the Physical Education program.
• Participate in meetings, training, and professional development related to athletics and PE instruction.
• Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate Physical Education instruction aligned with school standards and athletic philosophy.
• Support the development of physical literacy, teamwork, sportsmanship, and lifelong wellness.
• Assist with planning and implementing the Physical Education curriculum and activities.
• Collaborate with the Athletic Director and athletics staff to support student development.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Uphold school policies and expectations related to athletics and student conduct.
• Maintain clear and timely communication to support and strengthen family connections.
• Engage in mentorship and feedback processes as part of ongoing professional growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of School.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in El Paso, TX 79902
