Summary
Under medical supervision, delivers respiratory care services to patients in all areas of the Hospital (e.g. Intensive Care Units, medical and surgical floors, emergency department, post-anesthesia care units, and infant nurseries). Respiratory Therapists must maintain standards of performance for the area assigned and may be required to supervise the work of other therapists and/or students.
Minimum Qualifications
- Successful completion of the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Certification AND Pennsylvania licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Three years previous clinical respiratory care experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Five years previous clinical respiratory care experience.
