JOB DESCRIPTION
COUNTY POSITION
Position: GED Specialist
Classification: Clerical – Non-Exempt
Work Year: Full time – 12 month
Qualifications: High School Diploma required
Good organizational skills/multi tasking essential
Team oriented/Good interpersonal skills
Duties:
General Office Duties
GED – Lead
Provide assistance to inquiries related to certification and transcripts
Complete and submit monthly reports
Certification – Assist
Provide assistance with all matters related to licensure
Work with all state and local agencies as needed
Professional Development Activities – Lead
Responsible for all processes related to organizing professional development activities
Master Substitute List – Lead
Responsible for all processes related to creating and maintaining a master substitute list
Fingerprinting – Assist
Provide fingerprinting services and process required billing and other applicable documentation
Maintain licensures and equipment
Work with all state and local agencies as needed
Compliance – Assist
Review licensure of all certified employees and prepare reports for compliance visits
ROE Services and Projects
Provide support for all ROE services and projects
Health Life Safety
Provide support as needed for Health-Life Safety requirements
Other
Responsible for opening the ROE office in the morning
Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $39,000.00 per year
