St. Camillus is seeking a creative and compassionate Music Therapist to enhance the quality of life for residents in Assisted Living, with a focus on individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver individualized and group music therapy programs
- Assess residents’ interests, abilities, and therapeutic needs
- Develop engaging programs such as music and movement, percussion, and music and memory
- Encourage resident participation and family involvement
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all policies and regulations
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Assist with community outings, special events, and facility celebrations
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy or related field
- Minimum 1 year of dementia experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
