We are accepting applications for several full-time Assisant Teacher and Lead Teacher positions at our Early Education Center to join our team for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year AND the 2027 summer program. School starts August 12, 2026, and teachers start their contract on August 3rd for a full week of in-service. If availible all new hires would join our team on July 13th for 2 weeks of training during our summer program before the school year begins.

Starting August 2026 for the new school year (2026/2027), most of our position will change to a 4-day/10-hour work schedule with a set day off each week. Hours would be either 6:45am to 5:15pm for Lead Teachers or 7:15am to 5:15pm/7:15 am to 5:45 pm for Assistant Teachers with this new schedule.

We are looking for someone with at least 4 years' experience working with infants, toddlers, 2 year olds, and 3-year-olds in a licensed childcare center.. We prefer someone who has experience teaching conscious discipline and the Frogstreet curriculum. You must be loving, kind, and have good communication skills. You must also be organized and willing to set clear, firm boundaries with the children to provide a strong classroom structure that enables a positive learning environment.

Our Early Education Center accepts children from infants 6 weeks of age through Pre-K. We are open Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. We follow the Arlington ISD school year calendar for Holiday closings. We also have an 8-week summer program in June and July. We provide a structured Preschool Program and teach the FrogStreet Curriculum. We are searching for someone who has experience teaching young children in a licensed center. Must be knowledgeable of Minimum standards and VERY flexible.

The ideal candidate must be 21 years of age, flexible, energetic, a team player, and have experience working in a licensed childcare center. We also need someone VERY dependable and someone willing to commit to ONE FULL year (2026/2027 school year and Summer 2027)

Requirements for the job include:

· Christian/actively involved in a church 21 years or older

· NO criminal history and must be able to pass a background check, including an FBI fingerprint check. (PLEASE do not apply if you have a criminal history of any kind)

· High School diploma/GED

· Flexible, dependable, team player (DRAMA FREE)

· Prior experience teaching or experience in a licensed childcare facility required. (Prefer 4 plus yrs.)

· Arlington Childcare certificate is a plus

· CPR/First Aid Certified a plus

. Prefer someone Familiar with Ministry Safe Policies and Procedures

· Must meet all requirements by Childcare licensing

Benefits of the position

A flexible schedule that follows the Arlington ISD school Calendar regarding Holidays. (We are closed during Spring break, Thanksgiving week, two weeks for Christmas break, one week in June, and one week in July, etc.) This is a huge benefit to those having children in school or those who like to be off during the holidays.

We pay one week (40 hours) of Holiday pay during Christmas break, and pay up to 2 days per year for inclement weather closures after 90 days of probation. We also offer 6 paid major holidays after 12 months of employment. All other holidays/closures are unpaid.

We allow employees the flexibility to take off up to 40 hours per contracted year if needed for illnesses, appointments, emergencies, etc. These 40 hours are unpaid.

75% Tuition discount for full-time employees and 50% discount for part-time employees' children to attend our Early Education Center.

4-day/10-hour work schedules to provide a home/work-life balance for all staff positions except for a select few starting in August 2026.
